Macau Rallies

Given that the available marina berths in Macau is now limited, COA is planning to organise
3 Macau Rallies in 2024 for different batches of COA member boats so that more COA member boats can enjoy joining the traditional Hong Kong to Macau Rallies.

2023 National Day Macau Race :

Hong Kong Sailors are eagerly to have the Macau Race again and we have been asked frequently for when we could re-open the Macau Races.
With the recently announcement of re-open the cross boarder visit between Hong Kong & Macau, We are planning to arrange the first re-open Macau Race during the National Day Weekend of 30 Sep to 02 Oct 2023.

We would like to reiterate that the Provisional Entry Criteria for the upcoming 2023 National Day Macau Race as follow :
- According to available entry spaces, entry priority will be given to the following boat categories:
1. Active COA Member boats in 2023 - which have the higher participation rate in COA's 2023 Events (Click me)
2. If space still available : - COA Member Boats which joined the Chinese New Year Long Distance Coastal Rally
3. If space still available - other COA Member Boats
4. If space still available - non COA Member Boats

Arrangements for COA Macau Races

COA Macau Races are planned to be held twice a year :
1. Chinese New Year Macau Race
2. Subject to Availability of Long Weekend in the year :
A. Mid Year Macau Race
B. Autumn Macau Race

Pre-registration to the upcoming Macau Race is overwhelming and overbooked.

Regret that some of the registered boats may not have space in the race.

Pre-registration will be closed on 16th June 2023

Earning of priority scores will be closed after the DBF Men Trivia Rally on 22 June2023

In early August, we will invite individual registered boats, according to their priority scores, to join the Macau race.
