Provisional Entry Criteria When Macau Races be re-opened in the near future
- According to available entry spaces, entry priority will be given to the following boat categories:
1. Active COA Member boats - which have higher entry records in COA Events count from January 2020
2. if space still available - other COA Member Boats
3. If space still available - non COA Member Boats
Arrangements for COA Macau Races
With immediate effect, COA Macau Races are revised to be holding twice a year :
1. Chinese New Year Macau Race

Traditional Macau Race during the CNY Holiday Period

Race to Macau on the first holiday day
-
Lay day to enjoy Macau on the second day
-
Race back to Hong Kong on the third day
-
Expect to experience North to North East Wind and cold air
2. Subject to Availabilty of Long Weekend in the year :
A. Mid Year Macau Race

During a Long Weekend in June or July
-
Normally either the HKSAR Day or Dragon Boat Festival Holiday Period

Race to Macau on the first holiday day
-
Lay day to enjoy Macau on the second day
-
Race back to Hong Kong on the third day
-
Expect to experience South West Wind and hot / warm air
B. Autumn Macau Race

During a Long Weekend in October
-
Normally either the National Day / Mid Autumn Festival / Chung Yeung Holiday Period

Race to Macau on the first holiday day
-
Lay day to enjoy Macau on the second day
-
Race back to Hong Kong on the third day

Expect to experience North East Wind in cool weather
