2017 Douglas Cup (Lamma Fun Day Rally)

- Saturday 04th November 2017

​

The event was held successfully with fast passage in strong winds and ends with safe and comfy anchorage to enjoy the great beach music festival.

​

Thanks to the participating Teams and Skippers, we helped to raise HKD5,450 donations to CWS.

​

Look forward to seeing you again in Douglas Cup 2018.

Lamma Fun Day Music Festival is an annual charity event organized by Child Welfare Scheme (CWS) for over 17 years

This year, COA starts to organize a Charity Rally to bring yachts and their crews to Lamma Island to join the Lamma Fun Day Beach Music Festival and help to contribute raising donations for CWS.  Proceeds from this Charity Rally will be donated to CWS.

 

A Perpetual prize “Douglas Cup” which to recognize the founder of the Lamma Fun Day event, will be presented to the winner of the Leg Two Race in the Rally.

 

Non Racing Sail Boats and Motor Boats are welcome to join the Charity Rally and follow the fleet to Lamma Island to join the Beach Music Festival and help raising donation for CWS.

Early Bird Entry HKD300.- per boat -- Deadline :  Friday  20th October 2017
    Normal Entry HKD350.- per boat --Deadline : Monday 30th October 2017

​

  • Additional donations to CWS are more than welcome

​
