We are going to visit Clube Nautico de Macau (CNM) again in the upcoming

"COA-CNM 2018 National Day Hong Kong - Macau Regatta" (29th Sep 2018 to 01st Oct 2018)

We are working with our partners in Macau for the detail Regatta arrangements and would release the information by early September.

​

Maximum number of entries and fees would be similar to the Macau race in July, and priority would be given to COA Member boats.  (Non-COA member boat would be put in waiting list and subject to availability of entry space)

​

If you consider to pre-book hotel rooms in Macau for your team in the ND weekend (It is  peak period in Macau), we suggest you to pre-register the entry of your boat with COA Secretary beforehand.

• Race is co-organised with Clube Nautico de Macau (CNM) who offers discounted berthing charges for participants

• Maximum 16 boats with limitaed vacancy for different boat size ranges

• Navigation channal to entering CNM is more friendly to boats with deeper draft

• COA Member Boats have priority if entries exceeded limitation

• Charges will be similar to the last Macau Race, with little adjustment for inflation

2018 HKSAR Day Macau Race Scheduled on 30 Jun to 02 Jul 2018

Regret to inform that the scheduled 2018 Chinese New Year Macau Race is not feasible to happen as the repairing of berthing facilities in Macau that damaged by Typhoon Hato in Aug 2017 are still in progress and not available to accommodate our fleet during the 2018 Chinese New Year period.

 

Hopefully we may resume the Macau Race in HKSAR Day holiday in July 2018.

After much working with our Macau counterparts, we regret to confirm that the scheduled race to Macau in the National Day weekend have to be cancelled as the repairing of berthing facilities in Macau that damaged by Typhoon Hato could not be in time to accommodate us.

As replacement event, COA will arrange a 3 days Rally in the National Day Weekend within Hong Kong's Southern Islands.

Updates 01 Sep 2017

As you all know from news, we regret that Typhoon Hato had given a Tsunami to Macau and brought significant damages to the city.
 

Our counterpart Fisherman's Wharf also suffered some damages and they are now accessing their repairing needs and time schedules.

Our planned National Day Macau Race may be affected and we are trying our best to working with our Macau counterparts for the possibility to run the race as scheduled. 

We will keep you informed of the results, or any alternatives events, by 09 September 2017.

​​Updates Aug 2017

​

We are pleased to inform that the  COA 2017 National Day Macau Race scheduled from Saturday 30 Sep 2017 to Monday 02 Oct 2017 is confirmed to go ahead and we will stay at Macau Fisherman's Wharf as usual. 

In this Race, apart from the usual IRC and HKPN racing classes, we will introduce a new non-racing "Cruiser Class" for sail boats and motor boats who do not race but just follow the fleet to go to Macau for a leisure long weekend cruising and benefit from COA to handle the arrangements for port clearance, immigration, berthing and party in the event.

Status Update for COA Mid Year Macau Race Scheduled on 27 to 28 May 2017

​

We regret to inform that due to both Fisherman's Wharf and Clube Nautico de Macau would have construction works in the coming months, there would be no berthing facilities in Macau to accommodate our boat fleet during the construction period. 

​

Therefore, we have no choice but to suspense the Macau Race scheduled on 27th and 28th May  2017.

​

We are working to arrange an alternative 2 days Race or Cruising event in Hong Kong during the same weekend and would announce the details of the replacement event when it is ready.
