The Cruiser Owners Association is pleased to announce that the 2026 Autumn Macau Rally will take place from 1–3 October 2026. One of the most anticipated events on the COA calendar, the rally offers an unforgettable offshore sailing experience between Hong Kong and Macau, combining competitive passage racing with a weekend of friendship, adventure, and hospitality.

Co-organised with Clube Náutico de Macau, the event will feature a pursuit start from Hong Kong to Macau on Thursday, 1 October, followed by the return rally to Hong Kong on Saturday, 3 October.

Registration is now open. Due to the limited number of berths available in Macau, priority will be given to COA member boats. If you are interested in participating, please complete the Expression of Interest Form below. Our organising team will contact you with further details regarding your registration.

The Sailing Instructions, course documents, and additional event information will be published closer to the event date. Once registrations have been confirmed, participating skippers will be invited to join the official event WhatsApp group, which will serve as the primary communication channel for notices, updates, and operational information before and during the rally.

COA Hong Kong – Macau Rallies

Blending competitive sailing with a social getaway, the rally offers participants a memorable passage across the Pearl River Delta, a relaxing stopover in Macau, and a spirited race back home. Over the years it has become a favourite among local sailors, combining tactical racing, camaraderie, and the chance to experience Macau’s vibrant atmosphere.

Due to limited marina berth availability in Macau, the COA will once again organise three Macau Rallies in 2026, giving more member boats the opportunity to take part in this long-standing sailing tradition.

Demand for these events is typically high, and rallies are often fully subscribed well in advance. We therefore strongly encourage early registration. Please note that, due to berth limitations, entry cannot be guaranteed for all applicants, and priority will be given to COA member boats (non-member boats are still welcome to apply).
