The Championship Series represents the pinnacle of competitive sailing within the COA calendar, recognising the top-performing boat of the year. Results are determined based on consistent performance across a combination of COA-organised events and selected races hosted by other leading yacht clubs in Hong Kong.

This structure encourages broad participation and rewards versatility, as crews must demonstrate skill across a variety of race formats, courses, and conditions throughout the season. Points accumulated over the year contribute to the overall standings, with emphasis placed on both performance and consistency.

Eligibility for the Championship Series is reserved exclusively for COA member boats, ensuring that the title reflects the achievements of the association’s active sailing community. The coveted title of Overall Championship Winner is awarded to the boat that best combines commitment, competitiveness, and excellence across the full racing programme.
