Race Recap & Result

The light southeast wind was perfect for our sailing event. Twelve sailboats and one motor yacht signed up to take part. We spent two enjoyable hours on speed racing, with sailors entering the finish area at lovely Stanley Bay. Almost all the boats finished, except for one who had an unlucky mishap. I'm pleased to announce we have a new wine sponsor this year, Fantinel by Amorosso Fine Wines, who generously provided drinks for the sailors at anchor. The pasta dishes were even better than last year, though a few competitors tied for second and third place, in another tightly contested race. Overall, it was fantastic to see everyone enjoying the lovely day out on the water - I think it was one of our most successful regattas yet!
